The Name Says it All

Like many communities and neighborhoods, the Frankford section of Philadelphia, not far from where The Curmudgeon grew up and lived for the first forty-six years of his life, has its own Facebook group called “You Know Your From Frankford.”

Allow The Curmudgeon to complete the phrase:

“You Know Your From Frankford” if…

…you see the phrase “You Know Your From Frankford” and don’t see anything wrong with it.

Reading some of your older posts and had to smile at this one because how many people read this and scratched their head?

MY readers not know? They ALL know. (Or you think I have a lot more readers than I actually do.)

I’m sure you’re correct. I have been known to suffer from the occasional delusion. As a new reader I was not aware we were such an elite group. I cringed today when my younger daughter said Valentime’s Day. I can’t even imagine where she picked that up. I’ll have to screen her friend’s more carefully (because you know you can do that when they’re 22).

Yes, I accidentally typed friend’s and saw that after I hit post. My bad.

I think it’s late and I need to go to bed before I dangle a participle or something.
