Yes, He Really Said That

Carl Paladino is a former candidate for governor of New York who is currently serving on the Buffalo school board. He also was co-chairman of president-elect Trump’s campaign in New York state. Last week Paladino included the following written comments on a survey he took and then emailed to a Buffalo newspaper.

The survey asked Paladino what he would most like to see happen in 2017 and he wrote that he hopes

…Obama catches mad cow disease after being caught having relations with a Herford. He dies before his trial and is buried in a cow pasture next to Valerie Jarret, who died weeks prior, after being convicted of sedition and treason, when a Jihady cell mate mistook her for being a nice person and decapitated her.

Paladino also had some choice words about Michelle Obama:

I’d like her to return to being a male and let loose in the outback of Zimbabwe where she lives comfortably in a cave with Maxie, the gorilla.

It turns out that Paladino never intended to send these remarks to the Buffalo newspaper. No, he explained, he wrote them in response to a survey he received from an alternative weekly newspaper called Artvoice.

Which he apparently believes makes everything okay.

And while Paladino offered one of those non-apology apologies we see so often in the public arena, his public statement was defiant and thoroughly unapologetic. Read his combative, ridiculous statement here.

Oh, one other thing: Paladino has rejected calls for his resignation from the Buffalo school board. He thinks he still belongs on the board and has done nothing to warrant resignation.
